My C&O Canal Maps

    These maps are based on my personal experience of the C&O Canal and the help of friends that have traveled the towpath with me. I would also like to thank The National Park Service, along with The Maryland Department of Recreation, The Boy Scouts of America, and The United States Postal Service. And a special thanks to those that have sent in information and stories of their experiences along the C&O Canal.
    Although these maps began as a personal hobbie they became a group project as friends started printing and using the maps while biking or camping, They would write little notes about the towpath on the map and give them back to me for updating.
    I would like to encourage you to print and use these maps while visiting the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. Please feel free to add notes to the map of any features not shown and emailing the information to me. I'll be happy to add your name to the Credits area for doing so.
