Some programs available at canalbird.com require you to submit personal information to my system. I do not release any information about users to any public or private entities. You always maintain control over and have the ability to edit or remove any personal information submitted.
My system utilizes DataClip technology. Except for the forums, all non-maintained user data is deleted from the system after 60 days. If your last visit was longer then 60 days ago, this is the reason why you can't find your information.
Server logs are maintained and inspected for website maintenance, quality control and for cases of abuse. Log files are removed from the server every 14 days and stored as required by Local and/or Federal law.

Secure Transactions
I will never request your credit card information or Social Security Number. You should NEVER give your Social Security Number to anyone and certainly not on the Internet.

Cookies
Cookies are very small pieces of data placed into a text file in a special folder on your computer by your browser when it receives a request to do so from a server. The information held in a cookie differs from site to site. My Internet server will request your browser to store a number from 16 to 56 digits long and uses that number to identify you when you return. You can read what information is on cookies by opening the cookie file usually located in your browser's directory. If you have cookies disabled you may experience problems only while using my message boards. You should not have a problem using any other services on my website.
